I’ve been obsessed with rock 'n' roll my whole life. In my 20s, I moved to the West Coast, where I met an incredible guitarist in Long Beach, CA—who I somehow convinced to marry me. Now, I live near Austin, TX, the Live Music Capital of the World, and get to see amazing shows. My son is even named after Texas singer-songwriter Townes Van Zandt.

I may have spent one of my birthdays at a PBS Antiques Roadshow taping. I recently reupholstered two vintage 1980s sofas in leopard-print velvet. I hunt for treasures both online and at estate sales.

As the volunteer Chair of the City of San Marcos Arts Commission, I lead efforts to elevate the local arts scene by bringing groundbreaking visual and performing arts to our community. Through strategic initiatives, I work to enrich cultural engagement, drive tourism, and create lasting social impact through the power of creative expression.

It all started in college with a Netflix DVD subscription, and 20+ years later, I still haven't seen enough. My curiosity keeps me hooked on everything from fashion and history to architecture and social issues—if there's a compelling story, it's going on my queue.
