Wear NEXT Upcycle Event

When launching the TXST NEXT brand campaign, we faced supply chain challenges in sourcing merchandise. Meanwhile, we had a back stock of older TXST shirts and a highly eco-conscious Gen Z student body—research shows they prioritize sustainable brands more than any other generation. Leveraging this, we partnered with a local screen-printing business to create the Wear NEXT fashion upcycling event.

Over two weeks, students could choose from two exclusive designs each week, resulting in over 553 upcycled shirts printed and a strong connection between sustainability and school spirit.

Alpacas at the Arch

During finals week, we brought a uniquely Texas twist to student mental health with a surprise alpaca therapy pop-up. Announced only on social media, the event drew an enthusiastic crowd, offering a fun, unexpected stress reliever. Inspired by traditional therapy dog visits, it reinforced the university’s commitment to student well-being through creative, community-driven support.

More than merchandise

Understanding that Gen Z values authenticity and peer recommendations, we developed a strategic brand engagement initiative by partnering with TXST social media influencers to launch limited-edition merchandise boxes. Each semester, influencers organically shared their unboxing experiences, amplifying brand reach and fostering deeper connections with students. The seasonally curated items, custom-branded packaging, and embedded brand messaging reinforced TXST’s identity, turning each unboxing into a shareable, authentic brand moment.

Celebrate 125

Celebrate 125 was a high-energy Homecoming event designed to bring alumni back to their alma mater for a milestone celebration of 125 years. Featuring a lineup with Latin funk band Grupo Fantasma and country favorites Randy Rogers Band, the night blended music, nostalgia, and school spirit. The grand finale—a state-of-the-art drone show—transformed the sky into a dynamic brand spectacle, creating a visually stunning tribute to the university’s legacy and future.
